Safeplace

The piece is an installation made of a hand-stitched plush toy, children's furniture made of pine wood, a hand-built laptop made of mousse board and an alter-ego made of the same material, drawn on with markers.

By making out of textiles an analogue to the bidimensional vertical lines from my drawing practice, I am turning what would be usually known as soft sculpture, into a drawing in another dimension.

There are many meanings given to what was observed to be quite common - a group of three rabbits. A popular symbol they embody, because of their nocturnal nature and the circle they could shape out, is the full moon.
